How far does a temp spike if a woman is pregnant? I heard that if a woman has high temps for awhile after ovulation it is an indication of pregnancy.
I just took my temp and its 99F (37.2C). I am at 8dpo. My temp usually runs the "norm" around 98.6F(37C). Is that slight temp spike enough to be a pregnancy sign?

Temps usually stay fairly high all during the luteal phase. They usually say that if you have 18 days of high temps you are most likely pregnant.

I'd say 8dpo is too soon to tell based on a temp. Last cycle my temps stayed high for 14 days and then I got AF. Just keep positive and try to wait it out a bit longer :hugs:

It could be, if it's higher than usual and you're not sick. It's hard to say now, but if you do end up pregnant you'll realize it was from conceiving. What DPO are you? Good luck hun, hope you caught the egg :baby:
