Any chart stalkers want to take a peak (links in siggie)?

The last 3 days my temps have been 36.07; 36.06; 36.06 following a dip then spike then another dip and another spike.

My Fertility Flower chart thinks I Ov'ed at CD16 but Fertility Friend and CD2P don't give me an Ov prediciton at all

I'm either 8dpo or haven't Ov'ed.
Are my temps a bit wacky? Or is the up-down-dip-spike-dip-spike-down-flat normal-ish?

Hi Justkia

Sorry but I think you might not of OV'd yet cos I can't see a definite shift in temp. Also i've got a book at home that lists roughly what pre and post O temps ranges usually are. I'll have a look and let you know. It could also be that you are having an anovulatory cycle. i.e. you've just not ovulated this month. I wouldn't worry as they can happen to any woman at any time, its only if you notice that your not ovulating every month then thats when to go to the doctor to investigate.

x

Okay in this book i was reading it says that before O your temps should be low (usually between 36.1C - 36.6C) and then post O your temps would usually be between 36.7C - 37C and then goes onto say if your pregnant your temp will remain high and can range from 36.9C - 37.3C

hope that helps. x

Thanks pinkfee :hugs:

I think my body might have geared up to Ov on CD16 - I had the whole scary dragon-b*tch, totally emotional with zit break out kind of day, but then as you say no definte temp shift.

I'm pretty sure I had been Ov'ing this year as my cycles had been reasonably regular, but I'm convinced I've had a lot of annovulatory cycles - some of them have been veeerrrrrry long, it just all seemed to have settled down this year. Of course it's all guess work because I never bothered with temps and opks before :dohh:

Well, FX'ed for a late Ov or at least an ontime AF so I can prepare for the next cycle.

hey kia,

are you taking the temp at the exact same time every morning before moving or takling etc...??

I tried temping and mine were just crazy, but i think it was because I don't sleep well at night and DH kept talking to me early in the morning... i gave up temping.

I use OPK's now and they work for me a lot better although i need to use digi ones or the more expensive ones otherwise i never get a positive.

I am on clomid and don't seem to have O'v this month either, so know how you feel so frustrating!!! not sure if i will o'v now or not, its getting expensive all these OPKs!! lol

FX'd for a OV for us both this month... or like you say at least AF on time so we can move on!

Hi Pinkfee, could i ask what book that is? My temps when i was temping were much higher than this, i did read somewhere that this could be a problem, so want to try and find out about it.. Thanks :flower:

I take them at the same time - well, within half hour either way.
No moving or talking (hubby's always asleep then anyway), I keep my BBT thermometer next to my bed so just grab it and temp and then go back to sleep. I don't sleep with my mouth open - I know this for sure as I'm a teeth grinder/clencher

FX'ed you get that OV. Gonna sound daft but if I haven't Ov yet this cycle I don't want to Ov late because that will potentially give me a very short luteal phase. If I haven't Ov'ed by now I'd rather just get AF on time, but then if I haven't Ov'ed why would AF come on time? After all isn't AF triggered by the post-Ov hormones (from the corpus luteum) dissipating?

ok sounds like you probably didn't O'v then :-(

Yeah I agree AF is not going to be on time if you didn't OV, i don't know about hormones, but from my own personal experience usually no O'v means a late AF... I guess thats what I have to face as well, we are just going to have to wait and see :-(

Sorry for the delayed response I was away for the weekend. Its Bump and Grind by Genevieve Morton, as far as I'm aware she's just a woman who wrote about her experiences, she's not a medical professional so i think its more a guide for seeing the thermal shift?!
