terrified about what it means to have gbs

I've recently left nicu with baby after a rather traumatic c section. Had temperature during labour and following complications they rushed me in for emergency cbsection. As a precaution they put baby and me on antibiotics and took blood samples. Both baby and I were found to have gbs, and baby has had 7 day course of antibiotics. I had never heard of gbs but since leaving hospital have done the worse thing possibleand googled. What dies it mean for my baby that he has had this? Going out of my mind here

I can't imagine the hospital would have let you leave if baby wasn't well I just googled to see what it was. But like you already know, googling is a bad thing lol. If you're concerned at all, then speak to your health visitor or doctor. Don't stress and worry yourself.
