I went to the ER with DH due to heavy bleeding and they did a sonogram. It measured at 6w (right on target, minus 3 days) but they couldn't find a yolk sac or fetal pole but did find a gestational sac. I made them make me a cd just in case those were the last photos I'll ever have of him

The sonographer dropped the damn stick on it's top (which apparently the crystals are very sensitive) and the doctors basically said "You're having a miscarriage!" and the report said I had 2 subchorionic bleeds, a cyst on my ovary, and then proceeded to offer me that cytotex drug thing or a D&C (HELLS NO). Then the OBGYN from my practice was there and she told me to get blood work on Monday and that we will do a sonogram on Thursday. I'm so scared I'm losing my baby - they said it was at low place in my uterus and I just hadn't passed it (like they know?).

My cervix was closed, and I'm still bleeding but not heavily. No more cramps. I'm so freaking terrified as I lost my last baby to MC right at 6w. I feel so cursed.

Should I have any hope at all?

I am so so sorry to hear your going through this, really hope that the doctors are wrong and everything will be alright for you. When is your follow up appointment?

My followup is an ultrasound this Thursday. I got bloodwork done today. I just can't lose another baby like this

Thanks for your response, and hope you have a H&H pregnancy.

Can't imagine how terrifyingly it might be after last time, am thinking about you hun and let me know how things go on Thursday I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you

Thank you so much for your comforting words. You're so kind. I will keep you and your baby in my thoughts and prayers (if you're into that) too.

My heart hurts for you having to go through the agony of this nightmare - the bleeding, the horrible words from the doctors, not knowing, etc. I really pray that your little one holds on. I'll be keeping an eye on your post - please keep us updated xx

Thank you so much for your caring post. You're so sweet. I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy yourself, and I'll keep you guys updated after my ultrasound on Thursday.

Hugs similarien! I'm so sorry you're going through this.. You must be so devastated.

I know you're panicking but hopefully this can bring you a bit of hope.

I had my last scan at 5w6d & all they saw was a sac. No yolk of fetal pole either. So that may be OK, let's hope so!

The subchoronic bleeds can be common & you could carry on to have a healthy pregnancy with them. Luckily it sounds like that's what's causing the bleeding so there's hope baby is just fine. You may just need time to get rid of the bleeding.

The fact that your pain has subsided should be a bit of a good sign. As I've heard from the sub bleedings that the pain isn't constant like it can be in MC's. Nonetheless extremely stressful.

I'm not trying to give you false hope hun, but I'm just trying to help point out a couple of possibilities.

Praying for ya, stick little one ..
