Hey, noticed that tesco pharmacy hire TENS machines the other day for only £27, does anyone know if they're any good ( compared to boots etc )

Thanks x

No idea, you need to make sure they are compatible with pregnancy though as there are different ones. My MW reckons the Sure Start centres rent them out too for £5 in this area, so it might be worth checking out your area too.

i strongly recommend the mama tens. i bought mine for 47 quid and u can use it for period pain and the pain u get after pregnancy when ur womb shrinks as it can be painful. it has programmes for the 3 stages of labour so u dnt hav to worry about fiddling with settings. the ones at tesco r for muscle pain only not for pregnancy as i looked into these too. to hire mama tens its about 26 quid and you can have it for a month xxxxx

i have got the lloyds pharmacy make, it was only cheap but it has a few levels and a boost button for during contractions, we tested it on my hubby and he said it is really strong, infact he couldnt stand it on the high setting lol was quite funny really. So i know it is going to be strong to deal with the contractions. I dont think you need to spend a lot to get a good one this one was only cheapxx

i cant wait to try mine :P so lookin forward to the gas and air too :P

Thanks! Just checked n the tesco one is a mama tens, def for labour n pregnancy and it sounds pretty good by what u say sazibubba :) might go for that as tesco is literally 2 mins round the corner too. Def goin to look into the sure start ones as well tho, sounds too good to be true. Only 11 weeks to go woop woop! X
