Hi all. I have had two early losses this year. I seem to conceive fairly easily, but can't hold on to a pregnancy past the five week mark. I have one daughter (born in 2007) and am now 36.
I went to see an OB and she tested my FSH, estrogen, Hemoglobin A1C (a diabetes test), and my thyroid. All were in the normal range.
She wants me to take progesterone if I get a positive pregnancy test again this month to help sustain the pregnancy. I am fine with giving that a try, but she told me that she can't actually measure progesterone levels. Is that so? From what I read online, there are blood tests to measure that hormone. Does anyone have experience with this? Thank you for reading.
