We have been trying for 18 months to have a baby. I did successfully get pregnant after 9 months but lost the baby at 8 weeks. I am currently on my 6th round of Clomid with my OB. She said after 6 rounds she would refer me. We had our first appointment with a fertility specialist this morning. I'm very concerned! My DH found out he had low testosterone levels September '09 after we were noticing some issues in the bedroom. His doctor knew we were TTC and put him on Testosterone Cypionate- an injection given every 2 weeks. We of course trusted the doctor and went on our way. He has been getting injections since January '10. The specialist was not happy about it. He said that testosterone causes the sperm count to lower. WOW- THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW! I'm SO incredibly frustrated! Has anyone dealt with this??
To top it off, I found out yesterday that my sister who has been married a month and never wanted kids, is pregnant. I feel like my world is collapsing.
