Testosterone shots and low sperm count

Just learned testosterone shots can cause low sperm count. We are ttc #3 but he has only been on it for about a year. He is going to stop and take a zinc supplement. Anyone had any luck conceiving with dh on t-shots? Also has anyone tried the sperm count test from Walgreens? DH wants to try it before going back to dr since we have a high deductible.

Testosterone shots are not good when TTC because it signals his body that it can stop making the natural hormone , which will greatly slow down and eventually stop sperm production, I would have him stop the testosterone shots and take a good mens multivitamin along with Maca to help regulate things.
