Poppy is poorly at the moment (ear and eye infection - on antibiotics) and I just don't know what I would have done last night if I hadn't had my (.Y.) to settle her.

DH slept on the sofabed as I knew it was going to be a looooong night. She was waking up coughing and crying all through the night and each time she did, I just brought her into bed with me and let her have a nuzzle and a suckle and it settled her down each time.

Don't know what I would have done without them...praise be the boobies!

Oh poor Poppy. Hope she's better soon. And yes, All Hail The Boobies :)

Yay for boobies! I was thinking the other day if Meadow was completely bottle fed I wouldnt know how to settle her.......

Edit: If in doubt... wack 'em out..

I had heard about this but I find it difficult enough to administer eye drops to Poppy as it is, can't begin to imagine trying to aim and squirt my milk into her tiny eyes!

You could always put it on a cotton pad to bathe them with like us normal people:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Boobies rock, just ask Jasper! He'll tell you (if he could talk) how much he loves his boobies!

I feel the same come needle time. Boobs are just amazing!

Yes my Midwife said to use breast milk when Robyn had a sticky eye when she was afew days old, as breast milk has a natural antibiotic in it and it is sterile anyway!
