It has been an amazing year!! With the help of baby and bump I have received help support advise and alot of inspiration from the women and men on this website
The forums have guided me throughout my TTC journey, pg and now the first few weeks of life with my lg. I also have an amazing lb, when he was born, after a long exhausting labour, sleep deprivation followed, struggled to bond, I mentally blocked out his first few weeks/months. And tried my best to forget my pg. It was awful. (not complicated or high risk, I'm very lucky just a complete wimp)
In September last year my oh and I decided to start TTC our 2nd child. We were incredibly lucky to conceive in ur 3rd cycle of trying. I shared our pg journey with all the ups and downs on babyandbump.momtastic.com and have treasured the positive experience I gained mainly due to the support of the forums. I read other people's experiences and learned how to embrace almost everything. The most part knowing someone elsewhere was feeling similar was a huge help, not being alone.
Pg is a scary but incredible time, and I actually enjoyed my pg. I have a small network of close friends and am close with only a few familymembers, so felt quite alone and stuck talking to anyone Close t me about what I was going throu. Where as here there is always someone to talk to and express my feelings to.
I am Greatful for all the help and support I've received over the last year. And hope to continue logging on and sharing our new chapter.
