Mine was a surprise as well.

I had spent the previous 7 cycles doing everything I could, teas, tonics, acupuncture, massage and having loads of sex. So in December we went away for Christmas, and I didn't do anything, and we had sex once.

I guess the old clique of quit trying, take a vacation and relax worked for us. Which kind of annoys me. LOL.

I ended up testing on day 9, with the travel, I was off on my dates. When the line came up, I spent 2 days in denial. It took a couple more tests before I believed it.
Congrats to you, and fingers crossed for a healthy nine months for us both!

We are almost the same day as well. My first appointment is tomorrow but I think it will mostly be paperwork and fluid testing.

I noticed as well, yeah for September babies!

I had my first appointment last week with my midwife. We went over her care, and such and she did a blood draw. Good thing as my iron level is already low, so I can now take some extra iron to help boost it.
