Well..looks like Im off the booby train for good!! I mentioned that the morning after pill absolutely KILLED my milk production and I totally wasnt expecting that to happen. Ive tried to recover from it by getting some fenugreek, drinking even more water and having Keira suck virutally around the clock..but to no avail..

I had lots of hope that my milk would come back, but its at the point now where my boobs dont even get engorged overnight and NOTHING leaks anymore!

Had I known this was going to happen, I would have NEVER taken that pill but simply crossed my fingers and hoped for a ...

Just wanted to say though, if your breasts feel empty it doesn't necessarily mean they are. As milk production and regulation settles down after the first six weeks or so, overnight engorgement and leaking tend to disappear anyway. To be honest, the only way I know my breasts have any milk at all is that Aaron is happy and growing! So your baby might be a better judge of your milk production than you are.

Oh, Im sure they have dried up. When she latches on, there's usually milk in the corner of her mouth and theres none at this point. She also gets very frustrated 5 minutes into it, she starts pulling on the nipple and pecking around like a little chicken..Ive tried pumping and I was only able to get 3/4 of an oz after 45 minutes of pumping from both breasts!!

I feel so guilty!

That's so cute when they do that....and sometimes it sounds as if they are hyperventilating when they come close to the boobies!
2 Months is better than nothing.The bad part is from now on you will be washing + sterilising bottles.

Don't feel guilty! You should be proud of yourself for getting to 2 months...you've done great for her (and at the little chicken...bless her - sorry!) x

OMG! You will never believe this!!! My milk is back!!! Ive let Keira comfort suck after her bottle and sometimes at night after Ive thought my milk was gone. The other day, i was looking at something on my nipple and milk shot out and squirted me in the eye!!!! Im getting more engorged as every day passes and my supply is actually increasing, because in the last 3 days, I can hear her swallow! She did spit up a couple times afterwards and it seemed a little sour, so I'm questioning the quality of it at this point (Ive been eating very poorly and drinking less water), so maybe our resident Dairy Queen can help! rofl: love you Marg!)

I had a dark Guiness-like beer at the local Microbrewery the other night and OMG that night I was HUGE... Pumped like 3 times (total of 8oz I don't pump much at a time but hey...)

Your body takes what it needs for the composition of your breastmilk from your body stores. Much like it did in pregnnacy, so don't worry about your recent eating habbits. Just keep hydrated, and eat 'sensibly'. You should be fine.

Also you may consider taking prenatals again if you aren't... that will help a bit too.
