The cankles are real

Oh my god the swelling! My poor little ankles are huuuuuge. Anyone going through this yet?

I'm not experiencing it yet, but I know I will be soon. I had swelling in my feet and ankles with my 4 year old and the only thing my feet fit in were flip flops. It didn't go away until a few days after he was born!

The OB told me I could wear compression socks if I wanted. I said, compression socks in this summer heat? No way! Elevating my feet and resting helped reduce some of the swelling.
