Hi Ladies,

silly thread really but i just find it fascinating how different my pregnancy's are :) and these myths of how it may be a boy/girl.

With my first (girl)
i didn't have any morning sickness and tiredness was minimal
This pregnancy is awful...

I pretty much ate normally with my first, and craved eggs, mint sauce, spring rolls and went off curry, this pregnancy im liking the hot food and spices but have gone off tea.

I still think i am having another girl (mother instinct) and i cannot wait to find out whether it is just difference in pregnancy or because of the gender?

i will let you all know in 2 weeks! :D x

with DS everything was a breeze until the last few weeks when I had wicked heart burn.

This time - horrid morning sickness from 6 - 14 weeks, exhausted all the time, horrid taste in my mouth until amost 20 weeks, super smell which make me gag constantly, plugged nose... PGP starting at 15 weeks... but I think we're having another boy. Have another 15 weeks to wait to find out though :)

With my DD I had hardly any sickness and loads of energy.
This pregnancy I've been so ill I was hospitalised with hyperemesis and have had cravings for salty food... We're having a boy!
Xx

My first was a boy. I had severe sickness until I was 6 months , no energy for the first 3 months and Carried really low.

This pregnancy I was still really sick but not for as long I have energy and I'm carrying higher , find out next week what baby is .

With my DS, I felt nauseous for 2 weeks, had a fairly nice pregnancy, carried low, didn't really crave anything and the last 6 weeks had horrendous heartburn

This pregnancy (baby's a girl) I felt nauseous for 7 days, carrying the same, still fairly nice pregnancy except I've got spots that won't go away! Lol been there since 4 weeks pregnant, eating lots of sweets lol like I can't help myself, I've been having light acids relflux/indigestion feeling like I did with my DS just hoping it doesn't lead to the horrible heartburn this time..x

With my daughter I had no sickness and felt great, but went off tea/coffee (which was a good thing) and if I could smell anything greasy it would make me feel sick. I craved everything sweet and gained 2 stone the whole pregnancy.

With my son, again I had no sickness but i was a lot more tired. I never went off anything, but craved things I couldn't have. I also had cravings for food which I would normally hate. I gained 3 stone during the pregnancy, and he was born 4 weeks early.

This time I feel exactly the same as I did with my daughter, buy Mother's intuition is telling me i'm having a boy. So we'll soon see :)

Both of my pregnancies have been exactly the same so far, to the point were I have been convinced that this one is another boy. But today we found out girl :)

My last 3 were so long ago and i breezed through them this time i have had nausea (not severe ) and tiredness . I put this down to my age as the other 3 that were girl ,boy, girl i was 18,21 and 22 now im an old 38 year old lol .
The only thing i did see was with my girls i wanted sweet and with my bot and this one i wanted savory . Il let you know in 10 days xxx

Mine have both felt about the same, though this time I already have rib pain. I reckon it's because i'm WAY bigger than I was with my daughter. We are having a little boy.
I am probably more tired now, but I think it's because I just don't have the luxury of resting when I want, with a nearly 3 year old to chase after!

Mine have literally been the same. Nausea from 6-8 weeks then the occasional vomit but other than that good. Only difference if I really look for one is I'm having more headaches this time. My waist is also 6cm6cmsmaller this time around.

Ha! Posted already but this is exactly like me. I thought it must be another boy but in reality I must just 'do' pregnancy the same no matter what gender. ;)

Well with my ds I had no morning sickness at all really felt sick a few times but that's it had heartburn last month nothing bad was all a breeze really my dd however god she did not like me to eat I used to throw my guts up alllll the time until about 16 weeks then I had awful heartburn but other than that was fine this one so far is in between a bit of sickness but not loads baaaad heartburn for weeks now rene is my new best friend :haha: I craved milk with my son and coke with my daughter and orange juice this time we are staying team yellow so will be a nice surprise as I don't have a clue lol xxx

Mine are opposites.

First (son) no sickness, no aches pains ,
No tiredness, no cravings , no aversions , nothing untill the very end when I got heartburn.

This time (girl) I had sickness, food aversions, craved dairy, tiredness, heartburn, restless legs , huge , sore boobs the works!

Mine are very similar except I'm getting heartburn faster this time around

My first was a boy and this bubby is a boy too, but my pregnancies are very different.

With my first I had severe cramping and headaches 1st and 2nd tri.
I had some nausea, but more just food aversions to meat and anything with egg.
I craved fruit and Big Macs (Yuk I hate them).
I carried lowish.

This time I didn't get cramping or headaches but I had implant bleeding and bleed on and off for 17 weeks.
I had extreme morning sickness and was turned off ALL food for 20 odd weeks.
Again I craved fruit, but also whoppers (again yuk) and dairy.
This time I am carrying higher.

With DD I had slight MS (just nausea) and once I hit second tri it was completely over. I had unbelievable amounts of energy, really the only issue I had was heartburn and PUPPS once I hit third tri.

This time around, I've had extremely debilitating MS, throwing up etc, major amounts of exhaustion; once I hit second tri it went down a little bit but I'm still really nauseous. This pregnancy has been hell for me. I'm chalking it up to twins and extra hormones. :haha:

I am afraid I am the opposite..

Pregnancy 1 MS till 16w, Hr 150-160 no other real symptoms - BOY

Pregnancy 2 MS till 16w, Hr 150-160 no other real symptoms..exactly the same - GIRL

Pregnancy 3 MS till 20w, Hr as above - team yellow

I don't believe in the idea that gender causes different symptoms, personally.

My first pregnancy was very standard; felt sick constantly but only vomited a handful of times. Craved junk and dairy. I had a girl.

My second pregnancy was horrible; bad experiences, protein in urine almost every appointment, admitted to hospital for ketones in urine... Rarely nauseous, but when I was I was sick (very few times). Group B Strep. Craved apples. I had a girl.

This pregnancy I've not really been nauseous at all, no real symptoms other than occasional heartburn. So far a very positive experience

mine were completely different with my 2,

with dd i was nauseous for first few months, had quite an easy pregnancy
with ds i was sick the whole 9 months, lost 2 stone, had high bp at the end was rushed to be induced
this time im team yellow but very similar to dds x
