I had a mc back in August last year.. So with this pregnancy I am very cautious and parinoid. But these past couple of days have been terrible for me.... I just feel like something is wrong, and I don't know why.. Just an instinct I have. But something is telling me it isn't right. Is there anything I can do to ease my worry? :(

I'm 17+2, and no I haven't felt baby move yet.. I THINK I've felt "flutters" but I can't be sure

Sorry you are feeling this way Kandl! Maybe you could go in and get checked out? I know some places take "something doesn't feel right" more seriously than others coming from a pregnant woman. Regardless I wish you the absolute best, keep us posted! I'm sure you'll be feeling those first movements soon. <3

No advice to give really, but I often feel the same way. I had a MMC last year, I lost the baby at 7wks and had an overwhelming feeling from day one that something just wasn't right. Found out at my 12wk scan that baby hadn't made it. It was extremely hard to deal with. It's left me feeling very paranoid and neurotic about this pregnancy. If I don't feel her move for a while I can start getting pretty panicky about it.
If you need some reassurance then PLEASE don't hesitat to call your MW or Dr. My midwife is lovely and told me to call amd ask to come in just to hear the hb if I needed reassurance. The worat they can say is no, so it's a worth a try. A quick reassurance appointment is better than weeks of a stressed out and worried mummy. X

Thankyou for your kind words :), I'm going to go down to the gp surgery once I've got ready for work and see if they can fit me in with the mw as she's there all day Tuesday. Hopefully they can, if not then I will call the midwife and see what she says X

I had two losses this year and I know how worrying pregnancy can be after a loss. Have you considered getting a home doppler? Whenever I feel like I havent felt the baby move enough, or have that "something is wrong" feeling I use it for reassurance. I was convinced something was wrong last week. I felt no movement and was cramping. Doppler showed me baby was still in there heart beating away, it was such a relief! Hopefully they give you a reassurance scan and you feel better about it all soon.

Sorry you're feeling like this. I totally understand as I had a miscarriage last summer too. I second the home Doppler - whenever I worry I just listen to the heartbeat and feel better. Also if you have a 'This is My' centre near you, they do an any time reassurance scan for £50.

I felt like this after a bad few days being ill with gastroenteritis. I went to a private clinic and paid for a scan and saw a healthy little baby (it cost me 90€) but totally worth while as I felt much happier afterwards.
