Lisa, my mum got married 31st October (on halloween!), and she literally did it on a shoe string. As her and my step-dad had been living together for quite some time, people made contributions to the wedding as wedding gifts, rather than buying stuff for their home as is more traditional. I think in the end the only thing they paid for themselves was the registry office and DJ! Maybe that is something you could consider to cut costs?

Also, I make wedding invitations! I made my mums as her wedding gift, and been trying to get them on ebay ever since... just not had the time cos of uni x

yay a bnb wedding congrats on setting a date i have no idea how much it costs as i will never be doing it but im sure you can do it on the cheep. Its as much as you want it to be right?
Im sure lots of people would love to help you out - and you can do all the invitations and stuff yourself - ask fuffy - she LOVES crafty things lol

totally! kam came straight out to change the wheel - he reckons we can get the tyre fixed for under £10 on the weekend so thats not tooooooooo bad

i almost cried whilst waoiting for him, i kept thinking "what else can go wrooooong" ugh

i have counselling 2moro, thank goodness!

last week I had my home office furniture set up and delivered... and ther handles on the drawer were scratched - so I asked for new ones... and the lady said "of course no problem, but it may take up to a week to get them sent from italy"

I thought yeah right - what a crock - they're in a basement in croydon somewhere

Today the man arrives to fit them, and I wasnt in so told him to leave them by the door, and I'll fit them myself... low and behold - theyre in a boxed - with airmail stamps thingys from ITALY... LOL oops

sorry for taking FOREVER to reply - was trying to sort out some payroll. Im an accountant - although now i do more bookkeeping/payroll/vat returns etc etc. Thrilling

I need a red bull - i am in a i cant be arsed mood and could fall to sleep at any moment

yeah I normally do TONS - I end up working way more than 36hrs a week - more like 46 most weeks... I'm just ramping back up after taking the week off 'cos of you know what...
