The Lovely Looney Great Pretenders

I agree with Leah. Also if you knew they were in contact that's different but if it's a total shock, go ahead and ask how she's doing etc!

Hope works going well Faye x

thanks girlies.im super sensitive to x
Well work went quick there was a few times i kept looking at the clock but it soon was 10pm.
Wasnt too busy, apparently there is a march going on in dudley so i think we were waiting just incase but nothing happend. The air ambulance came but saw no yummy pilots lol. There was a porter guy quite smartly presented in apperance and he had the tightest trousers lol. All in all im enjoying thejob.
Managed to see steve for 20 mins but luckily he is off monday tuesday so will get to spend time with him yey.xx

Ooooh I'd like your job!

The march in Dudley always has a knock on effect all around! Last time it was on it took me an extra hr to get to merry hill! Boo

a woman in Kings Lynn who I've been haggling with for a few days. She eventually agreed to £200 delivered price.
Only thing I'm a bit wary about is that I'm not going to pick them up so it's not cash on collection, she wants a bank transfer and I'm a bit worried that once the money is gone I'm not gonna see the sofas.

Can you not agree to pay say half bank transfer before you get them and haf after? Are they delivering them to you themselves?

Oooh well done ley!!! Hmmm I know what you mean. Couldn't you pop over to check them out(and know for sure her addy) then go for it? or how about using paypal?

No they are getting a courier to deliver them. Bob said pay it all but keep all the messages we have been sending to each other and as I will have her bank details too which will be a record of the transaction so we have enough proof to take to the police if the sofa's don't show.
I will get an address off her too I think.

I suggested paypal mush but she said she didn't have one, she said postal order or bank transfer and there is no way I am doing a postal order.

Defo get the address and landline phone number.

Postal order = way too expensive and not easily traced, so I'd avoid them like a plague too!

When're they coming? :happydance:

As long as you have proof of the transaction and messages and her addy then it shoud be fine :) make sure you post some piccys :)

should be here by friday she says.
Just gotta find something to do with my old ones now. They aren't in good enough condition to sell so I might have to break them up and take them to the tip in bits or something.

When we got rid of an old sofa that wasn't good enough to sell we rang the council and they arrange a day to collect it free of charge :)

Yeah what LH said - my sofas were passed on but mum calls the council for hers!

Excited!

ooh might call them then, think they might charge around here though.

Anyone know anything about car insurance? Basically I bought my car when I was still a learner and insured it as a learner last July, then when I passed my test in October I informed them and they changed me over to a full licence holder.
Well my policy is due for renewal at the end of this month but my insurance company are refusing to give me a years no claims bonus because I was only a full licence holder for 10 months regardless of the fact I've had the policy and been driving the car under that policy for a year.
Anyone know if thats right? A years no claims means £300 difference on my renewal price so I could really do with it.

my friend had a baby girl this afternoon :)

thats 2 of my friends in the last week, makes me really impatient for my baby and I've still got 30 weeks to go lol

Lol awwwwwe babies! Soon honey!

I really don't know on the insurance hon - I hope you get it sorted though! £300 is a lot of money!

I'm sure when I first insured my car I was a learner then changed it over and I still got my years no claims. At the end of the day you have still being insured with them for a year, learner or no learner. I would think you should be entilted to the no claims. Maybe every company has a different policy. I would ring up and see if you can talk them round.

Xx
