omg ladies I am absolutely fuming!!!!!! and I truly believe that some poeple are a waste of oxygen and should be forced to be sterilised!!

My cousin had 2 children who are in their teens now. The little girl was blind but the boy was fine.
Well she gave them up for adoption about 10 years ago now because she said she couldn't handle them etc etc....
We were all fuming as she hadn't even asked for any help or anything, she just gave them up.
She used to do things like shut the blind daughter in her bedroom all day long with a nappy on and she treated them horribly.

Then she went on to have 3 more kids!! Now, I spent a lot of time with these 3 when I was growing up too, I used to babysit them and when me and Bob got together we would take out for days out and stuff.
well then she took them and ran off to wales with them. We didn't hear anything for a few years but about 6 months ago they made contact again.

I've just found out that the other 3 are in care now too , they were forcibly taken from my cousin 2 months ago after a series of "very traumatic" events that obviously the foster carer isn't allowed to go in to details about.
We aren't allowed to have any contact with them anymore, not even over facebook.

I'm gutted that we can't have anything more to do with them and I am also absolutely disgusted with my cousin. I can't even describe how I feel towards her right now!!
what a disgusting excuse for a woman!!

bloody hell Ley - that is a messed up situation. Could you contact social services and ask for formal contact with them?

i agree with mush. Its not fair that you arnt allowed to talk to them - you havnt done anything wrong! big

The foster carer said that as they aren't allowed any contact with immediate family it would be unfair for them to allow contact with extended family. He said he will keep my mum up to date with their progress as mum is the legal contact for the first 2 children who were taken in to care (she took over after my gran passed away). He said the most he can do is keep her up to date on their progress and how they are doing and she can pass it on to extended family who are interested.

I guess thats as good as its going to get I'd still try contacting social services officially so its on record etc... don't they normally prefer to place kids with family as opposed to long term fostering/adoption? is there someone that would look after them?

I don't think there is anyone that could take all 3 together and I'm pretty sure they want to keep them together. I wouldn't be able to and probably wouldn't be allowed to anyway due to my health. My mum and my aunts are too ill.
The kids aunt is currently pregnant with her 9th child in a 3 bed house so I don't think she could and the kids uncle is a waste of space too.

To be honest I think it is best for the children to be away from the family but I would just like to be able to have contact.
I wouldn't know where to start with social services though as I don't know where they are based or the foster carers name or anything.

Jealous, I wanted to get my pjs on as soon as I got home but we had to go food shopping, and clean the house. and my dad is coming over for a take away on his way back from Manchester so I can't whip my bra off and shove my comfies on just yet!! Soon as he's gone though I'm straight in those pjs! Normally I get them on soon as I get home from work

totally jealous mush!, I would totally love an evening to myself some time, put the kiddies in bed and get what I want on tv and just some Me time.

I always put my slobs on when I get home,never put my pjs on till bed time though. My boobs stay the same with or without bra lol so it doesn't matter if I have it on or not!!

Tonight I'm guessing we will slob and watch a DVD,I'm hoping Adam will get me a takeaway,I can't be bothered to cook!!
