Mine is a nuclear engineer... he's finishing his specialist training at the moment, he is also qualified to design jet engines lol. I don't understand half the things he talks about it goes straight over the top of my head!!

OH works for Rolls Royce. He will be designing all the new pressure vessels (I don't know what these are) for the nuclear power stations when they build them. I think they are the things that keep the nuclear stuff in if they explode! He loves his job so much, there are only four of them that do it at RR! xx

We have a RR plant up here. They do plane engines though I think.

Yeh OH works at the main one In Derby, he says the whole place shakes when they test a jet engine and his bit is miles away from the testing part!

Books... I like a good bodice-ripper I'm reading The Lady Elizabeth at the moment, and have Interview with a Vampire lined up next. How many people were interested in a book club? Only Mush and I seemed to show any excitement

Drama today - Nan just called to tell me that she has kicked out my brother for calling her a "F*cking C*nt." Yeah, he really went there. Nan and Pop do so much for him, and he treats them like crap. Needs a good old fashioned thick ear IMO, problem is, he is 6ft4 and 23 plus stone, so no one will do it! x
