Odd isn't it? The right person always seems to come along when you're not really looking for them. The guy I was seeing treated me like a complete tit, but I didn't see it until I met Dan... he's always treated me like a princess (apart from in the bedroom ) so it really showed the other guy up for what he was - a PLAYER! And an arse.

see it was the opposite for me. The guy I was seeing was TOO nice. He was totally besotted which is sweet and I feel bad but it drove me absolutely nuts. I wanted something different.

The Ex still goes on about me and still asks "how things could have been" 6 years on.

It's sweet but it was just like being smothered.

I worked "under" Dan at McD's for a while - I was just a bog standard crew member, while he was training to be manangement. That had its perks, like him doing my work for me haha. But we used to argue soooo much! I very much prefer to be the one wearing the trousers, and really struggled with him telling me what to do at work! We used to argue like bitches, but it was great to have someone there to stick up for me when I got into trouble... the worst of such times being when a customer called me the C-word because she had to wait for a double cheese without onions!

I do hate retail, with a passion. People seem to just assume that you are a piece of shit because of the job you are in, and so treat you like one. It really gets on my nerves, so I try so, so hard now to treat retail staff with a little respect... doesn't take much does it. I tend to let it go over my head more these days, or give some snarky comment back that the type of people I serve are generally not clever enough to realise is an insult

Was it Peacocks in thetford that you worked in? If so, that is probably where I remember your face from! Love shopping in peacocks hehe x

it was an OK job and I used to love the staff discount lol.

2005 is before I left, so that must be it. I love working out where I recognise people from bit of a geek like that. If I see a face I recognise in a film, I always have to work out what other film I have seen them in. And if I can't, I IMDB it.... bit OCD like that!

Anyone got any nice plans for tomorrow? I have friends coming over for dinner so get to have some wine!!
