Hi gals!! I have always wondered about Kegels. Do they really work? Is it really possible to tighten/strengthen your vagina with this simple little exercise? There are so many split opinions on this issue.
Personally for me, I have only been with 1 person, my DH because we were very young when we met. I don't know about anyone else but sex has gotten DIFFERENT, much different from when I was 17. Not that my DH has ever complained, but for me personally, it has gotten harder to feel a whole lot of sensation during intercourse and thus a whole lot less enjoyable. I also noticed it was taking him longer to orgasm. I then began to wonder, am I loose? And then came all the thoughts that I wasn't "good enough" and I was "used up", etc. I cried about it. I cried to Will (DH) about it. He reassured me and eventually I got over it. But still, sex was MUCH less enjoyable for me. And now that I'm (finally) pregnant, I also begin to wonder what giving birth will do to my vagina.
Now, this is NOT solely for my husband's purpose or pleasure but for MINE as well. So many women say that having intercourse will NOT loosen a vagina but then what does? What is causing this lack of sexual sensation for me and other women? I personally believe that it can. I don't know what else it could logically be. I've come here to ask about other women's experiences and share mine. I've also read that doing Kegel exercises can help ease vaginal birth (yay).
I plan to start, doing 10-15 reps of Kegels 3-4 times a day, documenting every week for 8 weeks and seeing if I notice any differences!
Has anyone ever gotten any results from doing consistent Kegel exercises? Share with me please!!
