Hi I had my gender scan last Wednesday and was quite shocked to find out we are having another girl because really thought she was a boy. So now the name picking is underway, we like Jasmine but just wanted to see what others thought of it and with different middle names etc...

Many thanks for you picks in advance :flower:

(Oh and Ella is my late Grandma's name and Ivy my husband's nana's name who's still alive)

I like Jasmine and Jessica together, and Jasmine Ivy sounds nice IMO.

Thank you :) I heard people saying they thought it was too flowery Jasmine Ivy, I think my husband has got his heart more set on it now though but I do have little doubts.

I like both, I guess jasmine Ivy flows just a little better than jasmine Ella, but either way they are lovely names x

No, one of my daughters has two middle names - Madeleine Daisy May, after my nan (Madeleine), my other Nan's middle name (May) and my great nan( Daisy), if they are sentimental then I think it makes their name even more special :) the flow doesn't really matter toouch, as it's not often that the first and middle names are said aloud x

That's a nice name. I know I was thinking that, that they are hardly ever going to use the middle names.

I voted Jasmine Ella, but I actually think jasmine Ivy or Ivy Ella are all fine! So go with your hearts :)

I like Jessica & Jasmine together

I voted Jasmine Ella - I think it flows well!

I think if you want to use both middle names though you should - it sounds fine with all three (in either order really). Maybe Jasmine Ivy Ella has slightly better flow.

Ivyella / Iviella can actually work as a combined name (possibly! lol)

Thank you :D Not sure about the combined name though lol

My name is Jasmine Ivy, I've lost count of the amount of compliments I've had on it! I think even more so now Ivy is in fashion, I used to get embarrassed but funnily enough it's my nanas name too x

Well you have a lovely name :D

I like Jasmine and both Ivy and Ella but

Ivy might be too many plant names
and
Ella blends a little too much with the e at the end of Jasmine

looking nearly neck and neck with Jasmine Ivy and Jasmine Ella, hubby seems pretty set on Jasmine Ivy now just me still not totally sure but I think the real reason for this because I think it's sort of disrespecting my late grandma who is named Ella with not using her name when I used my other late grandma's name for my daughter's middle name.

I like the idea of both Ivy & Ella together. Couldn't you hyphenate it? It think it would look nice as Jasmine Ivy-ella & then everybody wins :) xx
