The Nesting Bug has hit me hard! *pics included*

Little bit of background info, I'm a lazy sod.
I have good intentions and start off doing well, but I get distracted/hungry/tired and then put whatever I'm doing off until "later" (when my mom finally reminds me that I need to finish what I was doing)

I woke up today a bit pissed off that my MW appt has been changed to friday because the doctor I was supposed to see was in delivery all night. (I go to a multi-doctor practice, why they couldn't just book me a different OB/MW I have no idea) So I decided that I'd work on Olivia's room since it was a mess from everything being thrown in there.
I was just going to clean it up a bit, but then decided I needed to put up the crib, valance, changing table, and organize everything top to bottom. I got a bit carried away, I'll admit it. But I didn't realize I was "nesting" until I had to literally force myself to lay down because my back is on fire. It's 2am and I feel like I need to clean everything. My room is a wreck (mainly just laundry, but there's some boxes I need to put away) and it's actually bothering me really badly. My mom made a joke about how if my back wasn't hindering me from cleaning she'd end up with a spotless house. And the sad thing is, she's right!
So tomorrow I'm going to have to finish what I couldn't do tonight, hopefully this nesting bug sticks around until I have everything in order!

This is her door hanger that I hand painted. Can you tell we're going with a Ladybug theme?

And thank you! I was going to do The Very Hungry Caterpillar if she was a boy, which I was fairly certain she was. But then when they said she was a girl I thought "Okay, ladybugs then."

That would have been a good theme! We couldn't find anything like that around us, so we decided to go with a 50's rock and roll theme, the only thing we could decide on. It's very cute actually. I was all up for frogs or turtles, but OH said no. hehe

Ah, your room is lovely! Choosing a theme was easy for us, my DH is so into cars so we went that way! If we were having a girl, I would have chosen kittens!
I am with JayeD, just in so much pain and so uncomfortable I am struggling to nest, just about got nursery done, have done about 50 loads of washing! Have just started packing bag yesterday. Hopefully will finish and put the huge amount of washing away. Maybe prep the moses basket and start trying to play with pram...at some point!xxx

I can't see your pics - i'm at work and the filter is probably not allowing them (grr), i'm sure its lovely.

I wanted to comment on the nesting though! i have turned into a freak! i too am naturally lazy! there is always something more fun to do - now though ALL i want to do is sort my house!!! since finding out i was pregnant i have (not alone) decorated my living room and bathroom. organsised and de-cluttered every single inch of my house, and now the bedroom is being finished this weekend! i'm hoping to god that i will get things in enough order whilst bitten by this bug that i will get into good habits and routines for when LO's here, and by the time this bug wears off it'll just be a case of keeping on top of everything!

Most annoying thing IS pregnancy ailments getting in the way!! back ache, breathlessness etc! one trip up and down the stairs and i'm done in! ha!

Aww, it's beautiful! Where is your set from? We have ladybirds in our room too and I love the lamp/baskets! yes, I'm nesting too... it's caused arguments between me and my DH! He thinks that I should spend the next two weeks sitting on my a**e!
