I was searching for baby monitors the other day for my niece (3 mo. old), and came across this monitor that has digital video and sound (like many others); but it not only did that - it monitored the room temp, the breathing rate, the heart rate, and alerted you when it went below a certain level. I think the best thing about it though (besides monitoring the vitals - have you seen that?) is that its wireless. A wireless sensor mat that transmits data wirelessly? Sold! I just wish it was available now. Just figured I would pass this info along and maybe it would be useful to some that are expecting down the road. I think it sounds like a great product, but maybe someone has some insights I hadn't considered and could comment. Because I know for my next one, I'll be looking for a BabyM.A.T.!
