Hi,
After DD1 I got the dreaded 'Farmer Giles' around 3 weeks PP, and they lasted for nearly 6 months (seriously!, off and on) and made me miserable. Its no fun pooing razor blades!
Anyway, I was determined to do everything I could to avoid them with DD2 and thought I'd got away with it, but last week, week 4, there they were :-(

Can anyone suggest anything or give me any advise on how they got rid of theirs? I used Germaloid suppositories last time which eased them a bit but they didnt go any quicker. I am terrible for not drinking enough water so will try to do that too!

Best thing you can do to get rid of them is to drink lots of water. Eat more fibre if you are not already and go to the loo as soon as you feel the need. It will help with not bein constipated hence makin piles worse.
Ive heard dabbing a lil apple cider vinegar. The raw type.supposed to get rid of them also raw coconut oil used on the affected area

I still have them post partum. I'm using germoloids cream which is a god send, drinking lots of water but also still taking lactulose to soften it all a bit down there. I was prescribed it at hospital and they gave me a massive bottle of it and I take it once every other day.
