The Shettles Method.... Success or not?

I am not sure which day. I know we did it a day before O and a day or so after. I was just all gimme gimme! I was aware that doing it before O would give me a better chance at girl maybe. However, who knows who won the race!

well...it worked for me when I wanted to have a son and I have a boy on my 1st ttc using shettles method.

Now I am using this method again to have another boy...and got my BFP couple days ago, so hopefully this time is working again.

It worked for me and ive got my little princess. We did it everyday for the three days before i ovulated. I would have been happy with either sex though. I was in disbelief that i was really having a girl until i looked inbetween her legs myself lol. I hope you get your little girl x

Well I have no idea, lol all I know is we were at it twice a day everyday So who knows, I'm sure the new spermies don't kill the old ones, and I'm not 100% as to when I ovulated AS doc put my forwards a week due to size and we had a little break in between of abt 2 days

Hmmmm, time will tell! I'm guessing on odds it wld be a boy, but I really don't know! Have to wait another 18 weeks!

not sure if this helps or not but OH and I BD'D the night before ovulation and.... we have a boy on the way

TAT: ... So that DID work for you!... The closer to ovulation the higher chance of conceiving a boy!.... that worked for us too!

If you have a regulare 28 day cycle .. ovulation usually occurs onthe 14th day. That's how I detected mine. Hope that helped!

So not as scientific as I thought! I use opk's so it sounds like that should be enough. I was thinking it had to be more exact than that.

Hi I came across this thread whilst researching the Shettles method as I am TTC a girl as I already have a son and would love a daughter now, though of course I will love my child whatever sex it turns out to be! I am just curious of the success rate of the Shettles method. Please please please tell me if your experiences were successful!!! I know this is an old thread but I am sooo curious!
