Thermal shift ??

Hi everyone!
Like I've said before I've tried attaching my chart to BnB and failed so I've listed my temps. I'm confused about my sudden rise in temp on today's date.
Here are my temps(I was unable to temp on cd 1 because AF didn't come until evening) (and there are a few days I've been unable to temp due to a few days of a weird sleeping pattern):

Coverline: 97.0
Cd2: 97.7
Cd3: unable to temp
Cd4: 96.9
Cd5: 97.4
Cd6: 96.9
Cd7: unable to temp
Cd8: (vertical ovulation line) 96.9
Cd9: 98.1
Cd10: 98.3
Cd11: 97.6
Cd12: 97.9
Cd13: 97.8
Cd14: 97.9
Cd15: unable to temp
Cd16: 97.7
Cd17: 97.4
Cd18: 97.2(had a glob of EWCM in pm)
Cd19: 97.4(had creamy CM on panty)
Cd20: 98.3
Cd21: unable to temp
Cd22: 97.7
Cd23: 97.2(excess EWCM 2x in one day)(AF like cramping)
Cd24: 98.2


According to FF I ovulated around cd 8 and it's still saying I'm 16 DPO. I've woken up a few times with a tightening feeling in the lower pelvic region as well as minor AF cramping on 12 DPO I don't have any infections. Any questions/suggestions/answers would be very helpful.

I hope someone replies to you! I am wondering same thing about thermal shifts and triphasic. I hope there is someone more experienced on this board. I am on cd21 and while my temps are similar to yours and I opk+ on cd12, I didn't get any ewcm after cd15. I read you're supposed to get a glob of it closer to the week af is due suggesting pregnancy.

I think I understand what you are saying. From what I have read 3 levels of temperature throughout a cycle (2 temp shifts after ov) can indicate pregnancy. Have you tested ??

I haven't tested yet... I don't wanna get my hopes up and wind up with a BFN....AF is due 8/7-8/8 but I don't know if I can wait that long to test... We will see and I'll update everyone in the announcement section if I get a BFP... And btw basically since I've had 3 separate days of temps being above 98.0 it CAN mean preg?

My understanding is that a triphasic chart usually indicates a pregnancy.

I have spoken with my husband and he wants to wait and test until I am late...now if I could find some ways to keep my mind off the wait :/

How many dpo are you? Surely by 16dpo (which was 2 days ago if i understood correctly?) you'd be having af or a + by now, unless you didn't actually ov cd8, without seeing the temps in a chart I don't really understand the numbers what makes you think you're due in another 5 days if you believe you oved earlier? good luck!

CD14 - 96.8 (ovulated according to OPK)

CD20 - 98.2!!!!
CD21 - 97.9 (this was this morning)

I made a chart with it in Excel so i can see it better and it looks like it's staying way above what it was before i ovulated

I am on CD 26 of 29 day cycle. AF was July 10-14. I am 16 DPO according to FF. AF is not due again until Aug 7-8. Let me know if I can answer any more questions.

If FF is correct you're plenty due af now, can't always rely on the info, it just tries to go from previous cycles. Your LP (luteal phase, time between ov and af) is average 14 days, sometimes more sometimes less but you shouldn't be expecting af at 20dpo. That being said maybe FF is just getting your ov date wrong and you're not that far into your LP

My temp was up at 98.1 this morning. Now i am 9 DPO. I tested last night but it was a negative. I figured it would be it is still pretty early but just had to do it.

Angel have you tried OPK's? There are some cheapies and they work pretty good. I just started using them this cycle and O'd on day 14.

I agree with PPs. You should definitely test- your LP doesn't change from cycle to cycle, so unless you normally have a 20LP you should have already had AF. The higher temp definitely suggests a triphasic (pregnancy) chart. Have your temps stayed up since then??

yes....except for one day my temp has not dropped below 98.0
CD 25: 97.7
CD 26: 98.6
CD 27: 98.1
I am also experiencing the following symptoms:low back ache on and off, light AF cramps on and off, slight nausea on and off at various times of day, tiny bit of fatigue on and off, gassy and bloated nearly everyday, heart burn on and off
As far as CM I have not really been charting it because I don't wanna feel a low hard cervix which indicates AF for me but I have noticed slight excess creamy CM today(8/5) in undies as well as on CD 23 I had excess EWCM twice that day...whats everyone's opinion?

Another question(sorry)...If your temp remains elevated then are you preg? I have read you can have high temps during AF?? My temps were low during AF...which is correct??

My temps are usually still high on the first day that I get AF (unless I wake up with it), but then drop. I don't know if they can stay high with AF- I'm sure it's possible, but I always thought it was the progesterone that made your temp rise, and when you get AF the progesterone isn't high anymore? Someone tell me if I'm wrong? Sorry that's poorly worded- I'm feeling like poop haha

well everyone i tested this am and it was a BFN I will wait and see if AF shows and if AF doesn't show in a week i will test again....i guess FF was wrong
