Thick endometrium echo on week 5 3days

Hey all,

I had my LMP on 6/11/2013. We had our only attempt of the month on 22/11/2013. I usually had a 28 day cycle, but in Oct. I got my periods very late (late by 10 days). I got a positive result in hpt on 11/12/2013 and did my scan on 14/12/2013 to see a result of thick endometrium echo. Doc says it looks as though I had just missed my periods, that is looked like 32 days instead of 38 days.

She has prescribed progesterone tablets and follic acid tablets for 15 days and asked me to do a scan after 15 days. I am just worried if everything is normal with me. Please help.

Since you say you've had an unusually long cycle before, you probably just ovulated late. You can't really see anything on ultrasound until 3-4 wks after conception. Your endo should be getting thicker though so that's good! Are you still testing positive? If so I wouldn't worry. You might want to ask to move this question to the TTC board rather than the groups. I think you'd get more traffic there.
