Think he'll come early?

I'm just curious what y'all think. The older women in my life all keep saying they think my little guy will be making an early appearance. I'm 36 weeks, and I've been having a ton of BH since about 28 weeks. In the last several days I've had a lot of period like cramps, and my contractions feel a lot more intense than just the tightenings I was getting earlier on (I feel them more in my back and down really low). I've been feeling flu-y off and on. I've been carrying really low the whole time, and I haven't really been taking any photos, so it's hard to know if he's dropped any lower. I feel a lot of pressure down low, inside. I don't think I've lost any of my mucous plug, but this morning I saw something that I'm not totally sure about. He's been measuring ahead consistently, but I'm very sure about my dates (EDD July 9). My doctor didn't check my cervix at my 36 week appointment, unfortunately, so I have no idea if my contractions are actually doing anything.

I'm totally happy for him to come whenever he's ready. I love being pregnant, so I'm not in any particular hurry to get him out or anything. I was just wondering if this is all normal final month stuff or if it sounds like he'll be here in a week or two (as opposed to in 4 or 6 weeks).

I have to say it sounds like normal late pregnancy, however that doesn't mean you won't come early! They like to keep us on our toes.

yes they do I thought I would go early with Dylan as he was measuring big and ended up needing to be induced and he was born 14 days after Xxx

I'm getting the exact same as you! My little girl came 2 weeks early and I didn't have any signs!
Not sure if it means this one will be early again tho! X
