Baby's been quiet the last few days. I didn't go in earlier because she was still moving...every time I lay down on my side she would move, or if my husband talked to her or poked at her she would move. I almost went in several times, but every time I decided "okay, I'm going" she would kick a bunch of times, so I wouldn't go.
Today there's been barely anything. A very light kick when I first got up this morning (about 4.5 hours ago) and maybe one or two movements.
I went in once for monitoring when I was 27 weeks - as soon as they hooked me up to the machine she immediately went crazy kicking me. So I'm really hoping that's what happens this time. I'm very scared though. I don't know what I'll do if something is wrong.
I do have a doctor's appointment already scheduled for this afternoon, so I'm going to call them and see what they say, if I should go there first, or straight to the hospital.
Send positive thoughts my way please!

:hugs: hope everything's is ok, I'm sure it is but peace of mind is such a good thing

My movements seem quieter this week but i'm the same, just when I start to worry I get a few movements. Still probably on ten a day ok but have had some long gaps and the movements themselves are nowhere as sharp (although I expect that may be a space issue?).

I hate fretting about movements! I do think no matter how fine everything is I'd be fretting about movements no matter what.

I just went through the same thing, 3 days of "im going in for monitoring...." baby kicks "im going in this time" baby kicks....the only thing that really made him kick was my husband talking to my belly, for 3 days I barely felt anything, then the 4th day it felt like he grew a ton and was hurting me so bad lol. See what your dr says, good luck

Good luck hunni, try not to worry like said above it could just be a space issue but best to get checked.
Sending positive thoughts :hugs:

:hugs:

hopefully everything will be just ifne... maybe baby is down really low so cant wriggle much. Good luck x

sometimes i can't feel baby move... so i lie flat nd i can see him move more than i can feel him.
i wouldn't worry too much... see what ur dr says xx

Good luck peanut, hope all is well and baby goes mad as soons you're hooked up for monitoring!

Thanks for the support ladies :hugs:
I called my doctor and they told me to go right to the labour ward for a Non Stress Test. I went right away, and they got me hooked up to the machine immediately. At first I was really scared, it wasn't detecting any movements at all, and her heart rate was kind of all over the place.
But after about 15 minutes, she started moving like crazy and kicking almost non stop, and her heart rate was normal.
The doctor told me that it's not uncommon for movements to slightly decrease as baby gets bigger - but said it's good that I went in. She said they would rather I be there every day for monitoring than ignore the reduced movement. So I feel very, very relieved.

great news!! i have been having off days too where he is quiet then he will kick, then go quiet again. so glad you didn't hesitate to go! that's what you are supposed to do. xoxo

Im pleased it went well, my baby has been really quiet today but she wriggles when I poke at her (oops) so Im gonna see how she is by the morning x
