Think start of af has arrived so onto month 2 and tech 1st proper ttc month (as think we made decision after ov)

Do I temp from day1? Guess need special thermometer and not a normal? Anyone on cd1?

Or could be implantation as it was browny pink stringy - nothing since...... Urgh

Hi hun, I don't temp but most people who do temp use a Basal Body Temperature (BBT) thermometer.

Has AF started properly for you now? I'm expecting AF today so is likely to be my CD1.

Well today have nothing so hope it's implantation still cramps tho took test still neg so not sure

If you had implantation bleed yesterday, test won't be positive until I think 3+ days after, so try testing again in 2/3 days if AF doesn't arrive. Good luck

Do we count cd1 when it's full flow or when it's starting like the spotting I had?.. Normally last 5ish days but will see from this cycle for defo how long as normally guess lol

I always class cd1 as the first day I see heavy bleeding, but I always start bleeding heavy straight away anyway I don't spot first x

Oh and don't worry about a smear test affecting ttc. You will still be early in your cycle I can't see it affecting anything as they only swab your cervix

Yes, most people don't count spotting as CD1. CD1 is often taken as being first day it is heavy enough to need pad/tampon.

Normal for it to be quick if mes/heavy as spotted sat night started full af using pad sun eve then this morning just spotting :s did have few mini clots too... So confusing

lol think by end of day it be finished :s so if was af (normally lasts 4/5days) I now need to count days and check cm right?

Is start of ov 14days after cd1? Hope all this come natural soon lol soz for confusing q!

It depends how long your cycles are. You normally o around 14 days before your period starts again. How long are you cycles? I'm on cd3 still having heavy bleeding and backaches my cycles normally last about 6 days x

Jbuttons, yes your cm will change around ovulation and just before. It will get slippy and stretchy (most fertile cm is like egg whites).

Most women O around 14 days BEFORE period. If you have an average 28 day cycle this means O will be around 14 days after your period starts. If you have a 35 day cycle, O wouldn't be until around day 21. Hope that makes sense.
