Can I ask for you ladies who did go on to formula, how did you go about it in regards to milk drying up, was it gradual? Did you express every so often until it dried up completely? Thanks girls.

I was having probs expressing enough too so expected no probs when i stopped bf. the first night though i woke up in agony - my boobs were throbbing like mad and had swollen bigger than i thought possible! i took ibuprofen for the pain and then the next day i bought Night Nurse as i read on the internet that it dries your milk up. i had no probs after i took this a couple of times - my milk dried up in a day or so. obviously hard to tell whwther they would have got better anyway but i was happy with it. good luck with whatever you decide. i have to admit, i still occasionally wish i was bf my baby as i had always really wanted to but we are both so happy on the formula and my little man is developing well
