This is ridiculous but...

our cat would not come near me the first time I was pregnant. Then I lost the baby and she became "normal" to me again (although it was after I had had the MC.) I miscarried in May at about 4 weeks.

This pregnancy she also would not come near me... and we were joking if I was preggo again (she started it before we knew and were only beginning to suspect) that she could be a pregnancy test.

Anyhow, she has started to gradually come near me again and as much as I enjoy that she doesn't "hate me" it freaks me out that something is wrong.

Every little twinge, every moment I don't have huge symptoms going on all at once I worry.... I am so excited about this pregnancy but so terrified.

The joys of PAL, eh? It brings out the superstitiousness in us at times! Perhaps kitty is just getting used to your new hormonal/pheronomal cocktail you're emitting!

I agree with wookie  your cat may be getting used to you being pregnant :winkwink: remember animals are extremely sensitive and sometimes they don't like our hormones very much.

My dogs were all careless with me until about week 10.... now they want to sleep next to me, one of them actually lays next to my bump every time I uncover it  and if baby kicks she just gets closer to me lol

I hope time flies for you so you can feel more confident about all of this hun :hugs:
