Is there such thing as a baby moving around too much and is there anything wrong with it? I know it might be a dumb question but for the past two days bubs has been moving around like crazy! He keeps moving from side to side and making my belly look all weird. He has always moved around, but now he moves every hour when before it wasnt as frequent. I havent had any sugar or eaten anything out of the ordinary so I know its not from that. I feel really dumb asking this question but keep wondering if its a good thing or not.:dohh:

as far as i am aware baby can never move too much :D

the only time there is a need to worry is if baby has a crazy moment and is super active but then has no movement at all after that for too long. if that makes sense

Perfectly normal I think!
Never heard of anyone being worried about increased movements, only decreased.
I'm sure LO is having a fidget, trying to get comfy :)

i think about this EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!! because my daughter is overly active. But I know it's normal I just wasn't expecting it to be THIS much movement.

Same here! I really didnt expect movements to be this much. I thought you would just feel kicks, but he moves all over the place and makes my stomach look all deformed cause hell move in awcward positions. Glad its normal though and I would rather him be more active then not active at all so I know he is ok.

There's a website addressing this, www.countthekicks.org.uk. If you're nervous about something, trust your intuition! Any noticable change in movement could be a cause of concern, having a check up wont do any harm it's better to be safe than sorry, and yes that counts for both increased and decreased movements xx

My LO moves pretty much all day everyday and my doctor is always saying she is perfectly healthy so trust me when I say it is normal haha because I used to think the same thing...in fact she is moving right now haha.
