In the 20 months that we have been TTC I have only ever had 1 ovulation occur, until Clomid!!

I had my fist Clomid cycle this month. I took 50mg CD 2-6 and got a positive OPK and Peak on CBFM on Thursday, which was all confirmed via a scan with my nurse!!!

So I am officially 2DPO!!!! This never happens to me, so I am so excited.

I am also feeling really nervous, as I just hope this results in a BFP, I have been starting to feel more positive, but getting worried now that this won't work.

I know its early for symptoms, but does anyone have any early "Pre Ovulation" symptoms??

Thanks so much in advance.

Woohoo! You must be very excited! Good luck, but don't lose too much hope if it doesn't result in a BFP this time. It has already "worked" in that you ovulated....so now it is hopefully just a matter of time to that BFP! I a6 dpo on my first clomid round, fingers crossed for us both x

Try not to loose hope if it doesn't work first time, it doesn't work first time for most people who ovulate on their own.... but you know clomid makes you ovulate so its only a matter of time, you'll have that BFP very soon.. having said that, it may well work first time, Good Luck x

Thank you, I'm so nervous! I'm not building my hopes up for it to work first time. But there is a small bit of hope. :-) Thanks everyone. X x

Good luck hon! I'm on my first clomid cycle but looks like ill need to double my dose to 100mg next cycle as on cd36 and still no evidence of ovulation....ugh...! Have high hopes for next cycle tho as I had a moderate response to 50mg (scan showed I nearly had a viable follicle...).
Fingers crossed for you, but as everyone has said don't get disheartened if no bfp first time, hopefully it's just a matter of time for us both! X

Just wanted to say good luck! I got a bfp with my first ovulation with clomid, sadly resulted in early m/c, now just waiting for the next time it happens! It CAN happen on the first try, so good luck! Positive thoughts your way!

Thanks so much everyone.

I have really tender boobs today, and feeling really gassy. Not sure if this happens after ovulation.

Ovulation symptoms are so new to me so I have no idea lol.

Thanks for the words of encouragement everyone. Really appreciated. :-) x x x

Also, thanks for taking the time to respond to this thread, I posted the exact same thread in two week wait, and no one has responded, so thank you. X x

Thank you so much.

My name has a story lol, my hubby thinks I'm a walking Barrie lol, but one of there family friends thinks I'm a pink version of tinkerbelle, as pink is my favourite colour, so the name pinkerbelle was discovered, and it's stuck since. :-)

X xx

Yep. Both are caused by progesterone, the dominant hormone after ovulation. I always have tender breasts after ov right up to AF.

Oh wow, so I may have to put up with sore boobs for about two weeks then lol.

I always get sore boobs before AF but have only ovulated once in 20 months, so I guess that the AF hormones.

Congratulations and good luck!!

Symptoms are funny things. TWW symptoms are pretty identical to PMS symptoms (sore breasts, cramping, discharge, emotional, etc) and with some women, clomid will intensify them.
