Afternoon ladies,

Just a bit of advice really. My lb will be just over 1 when our new arrival appears, so will definately need a double pram... What will you be getting and why? The alternative is baby wearing the youngest, but as s/he will be due in the winter and I have a back complaint atm this isnt something I am completely confident with.... ummmm decisions, decisions!! (love nosying at prams though so all good!)

Thanks :)

We got a city mini double jogger. Best wee buggy I've had too, fits through standard doorways and folds with the pull of a strap. Very light too - lighter than my first single pram!
We had a tandem P&T before this, but in the long term it was hopeless and didnt recline in double mode, leaving my DD1 with a sore neck after a nap :(

Im getting a phil and teds look alike by hauck, but I will be baby wearing for 3 months just to make damn sure my eldest will require a seat. He will be 18 months

I've got the baby jogger city mini double. It's small but big enough for a 2 year old to be comfortable. Easy to fold and a dream to push.

I did get the phil and teds before and got rid if it. Just wasn't for me.

The baby jogger is the one that is catching my eye at the minute more than anything, but the seats look quite narrow and my little boy is quite big so I am worried he will grow out of it quickly. Have you used it at all out and about at all.

Atomic I have heard that about the P&T's and it does put me off completely. I have an iCandy so able to change it to a double, but the idea of putting a pram together with 2 children every time I want to go out in the car is not something that sounds appealing with 2 young children in tow. Can I ask if you got a carrycot for the baby jogger at all, or did you just use the lie flat feature of it?

Thanks for the replies :)

I just used the lie flat and a cozytoes which seemed fine - i hadnt used it at the very newborn stage though and I may have considered a carrycot then, I'm just not sure about that one! I have seen it out in carrycot mode and it looks fab.

Alex is 3 and still fits it fine, not outgrowing it in anyway yet

I bought the single too :haha: and ive seen buggyboards used on it but i havent tried myself

We have ordered the baby jogger city select. I don't like side by sides and hate the way my toddler would be practically sat on my his little sister if we went for the likes of Phil and Teds. With the city select, babies can be back to back, facing each other, both parent facing or both forward facing. Plus you can attach a car seat :-) xx

Ive not used it yet but my 16 month old fits in it with room. I don't plan on geting the carrycot as wont be using it that much anyway. I just wanted something simple but comfortable that will fit in the car.

My first choice was the city select but its sooo heavy. Plus like you said if you use the car a lot it would be so annoying to have to take off parts and fold down. With the Baby jogger city mini you just pull it up in the middle and it folds. Piece of cake lol.
