Those who's baby's eyes went brown

I have dark brown eyes and DH has hazel eyes that are almost brown. When dd1 was born her eyes were grey and by 6 months were bright blue. They slowly turned green and now at almost four are still greeny blue. I'm so shocked as I fully expected them to go brown or hazel. Dd2 looked similar at birth but her eyes went brown by 4 months at the latest.

Your eyes are so pretty, minties!

I think my DD's eyes are getting bluer. Quality is a bit rubbish because it's a cropped picture from my phone!

Gorgeous! Very blue. Much bluer than Emma's which makes me think hers will go brown

Dh and I both have green eyes and Alex has big blue eyes. The pediatrician thinks that they'll stay that way at this point They look exactly like your daughter's!

They look very blue! Emma's aren't that blue at all, and are darker. The centres are changing colour now but I still can't decide what to.

It's hard to predict 100%, but I know with me, my eyes were blue until I hit puberty at 14. This happens in 15% of the population from what I have read. They turned light green, and sometimes are mistaken for blue though (they are pale). My mom's eyes are green (a darker shade than mine) and my dad's eyes are hazel. I would say your son has brown eyes and Sophie has hazel eyes. Emma could see a change, or maybe not. They look really blue to me, not gray at all though.

Amelia has brown eyes, Poppy has blue eyes. With Amelia I noticed they started to change at around 3 months, from that newborn colour.. They got brown specks in first, and then eventually turned completely brown!

Around 6 months and now at 18 months they're kind of hazel. They were never really blue, kind of greyish. Partner's dark brown and mine are blue. It started with hazel specks appearing

They could still change and may well turn green, I have hazel eyes and dh has light blue eyes, DS has hazel/quite green eyes that were blue till about a year and a half and then started to go green. So you can see how they've changed :

13 months - not sure how well it shows up but they were greeny blue at that age

almost 3 years

Now at 6 they're a light hazel / golden green

Funny, I think Thomas's eyes look hazel and Sophie's brown! Thomas's eyes are lighter and have a green tinge, whereas Sophie's are darker and are an odd grey colour on the outer edges.

Emma's eyes are definitely changing slowly. They look bluer in pictures than real life. They are a sort of dull denim and from the side have a tan tinge.

The middle is going a greenish tan colour, I find it hard to photograph though as she doesn't stop moving!
