Personally I LOVE your spelling as I am in love with Charliegh not the norm of Charlie also my mums middle name is Leigh and it is beautiful.
Have you tried Maree instead of Marie? Written it might fit so eliminating the "I" in Maree.
I only know male Hadleighs/Hadleys so I guess it feels masculine to me, but if you're comfortable that some people might assume she's a boy from just reading the name, then go for it.
I like it! I think it works well for either a boy or a girl! Maybe you can use Hadley for a boy and Hadleigh for a girl! I've seen ppl pick a unisex name and then use it regardless of the gender.
I love Hadley! I wanted it for a baby, but hubby said no so we named our puppy Hadley instead. Hadleigh is pretty too, but she might get irritated with people misspelling her name.
