With my first I was up walking over a mile on day 3... so proud and so much to prove for some reason. This time, I will be RESTING and hopefully NOT bleeding 6 months PP. Rest is SUPER important...

My culture (Chinese) encourages a 1 month resting period afterwards where we are supposed to just rest up and not go out at all. I'm definitely doing it- no housework, no cooking, just sleeping, eating, drinking, relaxing and getting breastfeeding established. During this time friends and relatives all chip in and help out.
