Aria \a-ria\ as a girl's name is of Hebrew origin, and the meaning of Aria is "lioness". Italian name. In music, an aria is a solo performed by the leading character in an opera.

If I decide to Aria, more than likely her nickaname will be Ari.

Both of these names have stuck to me really hard. Ari I loved for a boy at first and Aria just always sounded so pretty; Diffrent.
