thoughts?

love love it! It's my second name after Rowan. It's quite popular in Scotland and all it will take is some gentle reminders for non scots to pronounce it right :thumbup:xxx

Its different. Think the pronounciation would be a big problem for most people , I was trying to figure it out for ages, until I saw your reply to kimbobaloobob's question. I think i'd prefer the simpler and similar sounding name of Rory . xx

I know its not the easiest to pronounce but i think its heard a bit more up here than down south. I'm really struggling to find boys names i like. Thanks for the replies! x

TBH its the first time ive ever heard it, but if its a well known name in Scotland, then Im deffo in favour of traditional names :winkwink:.

Its really common around here (Fife).. Don't think anyone would have trouble pronouncing it.

Even so, as soon as he explains it they'd be fine with it.

I really really don't like it. Sorry!!!

Rory I like... I dunno if your name is pronounced the same, but I just don't like the spelling or the way it looks. xx

u dont have to apologise lol, i did ask. its pronounced the same as rory except its roory instead of roary.

If it is a known name where you live I say go for it. It sounds cute but being here in the States I would not have a clue on how to pronounce it. That said, I am a fan of traditional spellings. GL.:flower:
