This is my Third child and I went for my first appointment on the 24th of October, according to my LMP I was suppose to be 7 weeks 4 days, they did blood work ETC, my HCG levels were 60,317 so that was all good but I went for my first ultrasound on the 2nd of November at 8 weeks 6 days according to LMP but the baby only measured 6 weeks and no heartbeat, they told me my dates were just wrong and it was to early to hear a heartbeat, my last period was September 1st and My Husband and I had intercorse 9th-23rd (not everyday) but that's when he was home from
Work because he works away and stays gone a lot. I got my positive the 26th of September so I don't really see how my dates could be wrong, anyways I went to the ER last night because I was worried since things didn't really match up and baby was measuring so small and I had some spotting after intercorse and cramping. They did blood work and my HCG was 62,000 so it's only increased 2000 in 10 days. They also didn't a ultrasound and baby still showed 6 weeks with no Heartbeat. The OB On call said it was concerning that the baby was measuring so small and that she would expect to see my HCG levels higher than they are. They told
Me to call my doctor on Monday and see them ASAP to check
My levels ETC.. I'm not really sure what to expect. If I was really 6 weeks then there is no way my HCG was 60,317 10 days ago because I would have only been 4 weeks 4 days. What's your thoughts ?

I've been through this too three times. Unfortunately mine didn't have a good outcome so I'm offering you all the :hugs: in the world.

I had betas drawn in 2 of my 3 losses. I didn't have betas drawn with my first loss because it happened after two successful pregnancies and they typically don't do pregnancies if you don't have a history of loss here. We found out about that one when we had an ultrasound that showed no hb. I had a D&C with that one because we couldn't wait to get back to ttc again. With my second loss they drew my first beta the same day as my scan. The beta showed a level of 50,000 while the ultrasound showed a 7 week baby with no hb. I decided to opt for a D&C the next day so I didn't get a second draw to see how much it went up to. My third loss I had betas drawn twice. The first time my levels were 47,000 at 6 weeks which was considered "normal" but my second draw a few days later only went up to 52,000 so they were not doubling as they should. They scanned me that same day and discovered that I had a blighted ovum. They saw a fetal pole but an enlarged yolk sac and no baby.

I'm sorry I couldn't give you a better answer. I just wanted to tell you that I've been there, done that and I know how much it hurts. It made me angry and more depressed with each loss. I completely sympathize with you. Hopefully you'll have a better outcome than I did, or at the very least a rainbow in your future :flower:

Thank You so much for your support! I'm really hoping everything is okay and there is a explanation for everything. Calling doctor tomorrow to see if they want me to come in and check levels, they only do ultrasounds on Wednesdays and that really sucks but at least the baby would have had time to grow if it was going to! I'll update you on what I find out! I've had two healthy pregnancies and never had a miscarriage so I'm not sure why It's happening now, maybe it's due to my cycles changing.
