Howdy Hey gotta lot of concerns today:rofl:,

What's the difference and how can you tell on your baby??I see these Red dots on my baby girl on the lips(sorry if TMI)..She got them when she was a week and a half..I use diaper rash cream with every change and top name brand diapers (swaddlers) and I change her ever 1 hr - 1 1/2hrs..Its been at least 2 wks now..The dr said it was diaper rash but its still there I will tell her about that tomorrow too...we aren't on any antibiotics or any medicine so I dont know cuz they say thrush comes from that..How can I rid it if it is thrush?? :cry:Can it be painful to her??:help: please thanks alot:hugs:

You can get cream from the pharmacist for thrush. Thrush tends to be red dots and has a sort of raised texture.

I don't think it's as painful as proper nappy rash (which is more like a burn), but be careful when cleaning her bum. Lots of nappy free time will help to clear it up. It's a fungal thing - the natural yeast goes a bit out of control. If you use cloth nappies, put a bit of tea tree oil in when you wash them as the thrush can live in them and then re-infect your LO.
