Was just wondering for anyone who has had this test what they got told the normal level should be?

I got tested and they were 3.4, which came back in the normal category but I've not been feeling great recently. Very tired and forgetful and really struggling to lose weight despite diet and exercise.

I've also read that FS like it to be between 1.2 for ttc.

Can anyone help please?

I've been told very recently that FS prefer your thyroid stimulating hormone reading to be as close to 1 as possible for conception and maintaining a pregnancy. Mine at last check was 2.46. It's well within normal ranges (0.27 - 4.2) but apparently may be a factor in my infertility. I don't think it's as simple as one reading not being at the right level though. I think there are other thyroid readings to get as well, and they should be analysed as a whole. Definitely speak to someone better qualified than me. Good luck.

thanks Maz. I know my free T4 was 12, but not sure what any of this means.

Are you in the UK?
