just wondering if anyone has ever tried the slimming/tightening body wraps you can have done at the spas? did it work..if so how many inches did you lose and did it last or just for a few days?

I'm also interested in hearing the response for this. I heard it advertised on the radio a while back and have wondered since then if it actually works. I realize it might be a temporary thing.

Doesn't it sound uncomfortable?

unfortunately they are just a temporary loss of water so as soon as you eat or drink you lose the affects of the wrap

I have to agree with sammiwry, I had one before my wedding (desperate enough to try anything by that point), I didn't lose many inches at all, nothing at all off my waist, and after a couple of days they had come back. And I paid £40 for it, not impressed.

I agree they probably don't work, but there is a home recipe in Woman's World magazine if you wanted to give it a try without breaking the bank!
