Tights in summer?

I've got loads of dresses in 0-3/3-6 months that will be worn during the summer months. I know they say to keep as much skin covered as possible, so does this mean she would wear tights in the summer or is it too hot for them? I only have 3 pairs atm and wondered if i need to get more, or would i just keep her legs bare but try to keep her out of the sun?

good question, not sure. I will prob put Rosie in dresses and keep her legs bare with socks and plenty of sun cream and keep her out the sun, not that we get much here lol x

when maddi was born 1st july last yr she had mainly dresses and skirts with socks, no tights, though like toria said the thin summer tights are good x

I had Hannah's legs exposed all the time last summer

You don't necessarily need tights (although they still get lots of use in our British summer in my opinion:dohh:). Use sunblock on all exposed areas even if it seems cloudy, a hat is a must and keep them under a parasol/sunshade. I always keep a spare pair of frilly socks in my changing bag as one minute it can be lovely and warm, then a big cloud comes out and it feels really cold...especially on a baby's bare legs:baby:

im going to turkey in the summer and was planning on just putting dress and no socks/tights on her, admittedly its a tiny bit hotter there than it gets here :dohh: so if i was here id prob put tights on her still, just the same as putting trousers on her in the summer isnt it

Kathryn will be going bear legged during the summer! The summer is plenty hot so KAthryn wont be needing them.

Well, depending on the weather I guess. I would keep some thicker tights to one side, British summertime isn't always reliable on being hot and sunny. But like Toria said buy some thinner tights :)
