tights on baby boys?

I am going to put leggings on underneath his pants that aren't lined to keep him warm. He is pretty good (as of right now) with keeping socks on but if he starts taking them off his little but will be in tights!! :haha:

Findlay wears tights to keep him warm.

Primark currently have packs of 3 white pairs and also packs of 1 white, 1 plain red and 1 plain black pair

don't have a boy myself but I think it's a great idea, and don't understand why anyone would think it was weird to keep your baby warm!

it's common sense for keeping them warm stuff what everyone else thinks - I think I might if I knew we were going out for a long walk somewhere on a cold crisp day!

I def. would if Ethan was younger. When it's snowy I'll probs put him in a black or navy pair. Need to hone that skill of changing nappy without taking trousers off ladies if you're going with tights! I don't see any problem with it.
As for babies in jeans etc, I kept Ethan in funky all in ones or long legged rompers (footless) for ages until he was at least 4mo if not 5mo.

tell you what though putting tights on made me have a new found respect for girls mums and the nappy changes 2 nightmear xx

sounds like a good idea to me. I perhaps would although i already have some leggings and leg warmers for my little boy and its causing lots of laughs when my brother and dad see Aussy in them hehe

I have bought my little boy huggaluggs and i love them

Don't listen to them, they're just being ignorant. The baby doesn't care what he wears so long as he is comfortable and warm enough and tights were completely normal on boys in the 70s and earlier. Personally I hate jeans and trousers on baby boys, I think modern baby clothes are making babies look like little men when I think a baby should look like a baby. He doesn't get that priviledge for long! My baby boy wears tights most of the time, he has white ones, red ones and navy ones and they look very cute indeed, especially with a cute vintage romper suit, or knitted shorts. I bought them from the girls section in mothercare.
MORE TIGHTS ON BOYS!

I agree - what little baby can move in denim???
or combat trousers with pockets (why? why? why?) all over the legs?
tights are warm and flexible, no problem with boys wearing them!

Agree - hate denim on babies, horrid uncomfortable waistbands etc. Dress them as a baby. Romper suits all the way - comfy to wear, dont ride up etc.

I don't think babies care about gender differences too much - and why should they! :flower:

Sainsburys are selling 2 packs of cream tights for £4.

I got some tights for my little boy from Tykes Tights.
They had some fab boyish ones in their sale and I also picked up some plain ones. Hope this helps someone.
