I've just seen the bit you added about becoming pregnant, thank you so much for sharing, it's nice to hear the whole story.

Don't feel guilty that you could have done more, if you'd known for sure it was twins. You did what was right for you. That's one of the worst things about being in this situation, all the what ifs, they drive me nuts.
