Tinnitus in pregnancy?

Hiya,
I was just wondering if anyone has suffered from this? It started with me around 3 weeks ago and is driving me insane. It's like a high pitched electrical whine - only seems to be in my left ear at the moment. It's not too bad during the day, but at night, when it's quiet, it's driving me nuts and keeping me awake.

I've always had tinnitus (cause unknown) and what you describe certainly sounds like it. I'd ask your doctor or midwife if I were you in case it's a sign your blood pressure is up a bit. Also, it could be ear wax which is easy enough to sort out

rainbowgroove - did the tinnitus / ringing in ears go away? If so, was it right after the birth of your baby? Thanks.
