Tips for healthy eating

I though it might be a good idea for everyone to share their tips for eating healthy food instead of junk during the week.

As for me:
- Drinking water.
- Having no junk at home (if it's not here, I can't have it).
- Trying not to go to grocery store during the week to avoid being tempted to buy unhealthy food.
 
-Definitely agree with the 'no junk food at home' tip! I make a shopping list & try and stick to it.
- Make sure I have healthy snacks
- Eat breakfast
- Switching from white bread/pasta/rice to brown helped up my fibre intake and keeps me fuller
- I walk most places & have an app which counts your steps, how far you go, how fast you walk and roughly estimates how many cals youve burnt by walking. I fid its normally about 150 cals for 30mins brisk walking
- Drink water
- I half the meat quantity in recipes and substitute veg
- I experiment with healthy food,& eat exotic veggies & fruit, it stops me getting bored
-And i try not to weigh myself too often
